Playing sports as a child/adolescent is
not without its risks. The most common injury to a young
athlete is a concussion and it can be very debilitating and
difficult to manage in the weeks following the injury. The
Center for Advanced Pediatrics is pleased to announce that we
offer the ImPACT concussion monitoring system. This 45 minute
computerized test can monitor the damage caused by a head
impact and the road to recovery. ImPACT testing is even more
effective when a baseline test is done before injury. If your
child participates in sports or other potentially head
injuring activity call today for a baseline test. If your
child does get injured remember to have our concussion
specialist monitor their recovery along with the ImPACT
system. Click
here for more info.
All of us at The Center for Advanced Pediatrics care about
your personal experience here. As we grow to provide our
patients with a more comprehensive health care experience,
we'd like to hear from you. If you have any concerns or
suggestions that will help us to serve you better, please
contact Mary Stanton @ mstanton@tcfap.com.
We are working hard to give you and your children the best
care possible.
