New Mom's Support Classes
Baby Basic III: Your Baby & You
The
Center for Advanced Pediatrics offers a 5-week parenting class moderated by
our pediatricians, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a nutritionist. The
group meets once a week for one and a half hours. (Starting Tuesdays at 11am)
The
first half is devoted to social and adjustment issues surrounding becoming a
new parent. The second half is spent in a question/answer session with one of
the pediatricians. One week is devoted exclusively nutrition with our on staff
nutritionist. Moms are welcome and encouraged to
bring their babies with them each week.
Come join in, get those questions answered and make life-long friends with
other parents with newborns.
